I am a graduate of Ball State University where I majored in Social Work and minored in Counseling Psychology.  I currently serve as the Director of Ministry to Women at Liberty Bible Church in Chesterton, Indiana and, have been a speaker and facilitator for Women In The Word Bible Studies for over 18 years.  Recently I have had the awesome privilege of receiving training through the Speak Up Conference, which is a program for writers and speakers, set up by Carol Kent Ministries, as well as the She Writes for Him Conference. It was an incredible opportunity to work with other writers and speakers on honing my craft.  This is a program that I look forward to attending again next year.  I also enjoy attending "The Called" conference each year at Moody Bible Institute, which is a conference for women in leadership. I have had one of my stories, titled "Masterpiece" featured in the book collaboration titled "Whispers of Grace, Volume 2," and I have recently had my first solo book, "Dropping Anchor: Navigating the Waters of Life Through God's Love" published. I look forward to continuing my writing in the future and sharing what God has laid on my heart through speaking and teaching.
